Can a person marry another person while already married?

I'm.already married and registered in chennai ,can I marry another person and register in Salem with no objection from first spouse, I'm a Hindu kindly reply thank you
Legally its not possible. First registration supposed to be dissolved by the court then only you can proceed the next marriage otherwise it will be offensive. Getting no objection from spouse is illegal withput legal remedy.

Well, as yu have already registered your marriage at Chennai yu can't register your second marriage unless you are divorced. So you can file mutual consent with your first wife and then remarry with the decree.

you cannot marry another person if the first spouse given consent to the second marriage. Without getting divorce from the first wife the second marriage is illegal and punishable under section494 of Indian Penal code.
