Can a Builder ask for interest charge without CC/registration?

Hi I have a flat in Nirala Aspire, we have given 40% to the builder at the time of booking, now builder is demanding rest of the money while builder does not get CC and flat is not ready for registry yet. Builder is demanding the money with interest, they are saying, they offered the possession on fit out period, according the BBA. In BBA, this is written that they will offer the possession on fit out period. What is your advice in this regard?? Tks

You can file a complaint suit against the builder for his misconduct along with sect. 409,420 of I.P.C along with Breach of trust. If needed you can seek help from the advocate known to you. who shall take care for the same.

It's depend on your agreement bitwin you and your builder. In which terms and conditions you make agreement. If any delays your payments than he charge you interest as normal. Tel me more details about your bookings.
