appeal filed before Magistrates or collector and collector is appellant authority as well . Isliye aapko chairman ke order ke khilaf appeal District Magistrate ke samne, prescribed time limit (usually 30 days from the date of order) ke andar file karni hogi. Kya aap chahte ho main aapke liye ek draft appeal format bhi bana kar doon jo aap directly use kar sako?

Under Section 160 of the U.P. Municipalities Act, 1916, any person aggrieved by an order, notice, or decision of the Chairman of Nagar Palika Parishad has a statutory right of appeal. The appeal lies before the District Magistrate (Collector) or the Prescribed Authority designated by the State Government. Thus, in case the impugned order has been passed by the Nagar Palika Chairman, the remedy is to prefer an appeal before the District Magistrate / Collector of the concerned district, who acts as the appellate authority under the Act. The appellant will be the person aggrieved by the order (citizen, property owner, trader, or resident, depending upon the facts), and the respondent authority will be the Nagar Palika / its Chairman who issued the impugned order. Therefore, the proper appellate authority is the District Magistrate/Collector under Section 160, and the aggrieved person is entitled to file the appeal within the prescribed limitation period.

Section 160 of the Act provides for the statutory remedy of appeal against orders of the Municipal Board or its Chairman (Nagar Palika Chairman). The appeal is to be filed before the District Magistrate (DM) of the concerned district. The District Magistrate (DM) is the appellate authority under Section 160 of the U.P. Municipalities Act, 1916. If you are aggrieved by an impugned order of the Nagar Palika Chairman, you have a statutory right to file an appeal under Section 160 before the District Magistrate, who will act as the appellate authority.
