What to do for the custody of my child if i am handicapped

Hi, I am a working professional & physically challenged. I am living in chennai. I got X-party for my divorce case which was filed to secure my family from my wife side threaten before 7 years. I have the separated life for the past 8 years. My wife is running a case against my family case in her native at different city for money. She is partially deaf and dump. I have a son aged 9 years. Now, I would like to see and take care my son, is there any possibilities to put up separate case to ask to see him or to take care his life by myself instead of her family environment due to her inability to teach him and to give good atmosphere. If I can put up a case, at which city I can file the case? And as I am a working and physically handicapped, any other way shall I nominate my father or brother to give my opinion instead of me in my running wife side case, which was happening for the past 8 years. Your case for custody of the child can be filed in either at your place or at your wife's place. Custody is generally decided upon certain aspects like economic status,ability to bring up the child and finally the wish of the child. You have not stated what's the case filed by your wife against you. If it's divorce it's not maintainable since you've already got divorce. Whatever it may be you can nominate somebody to represent on behalf of you but for important hearings like counselling you 've to be there.
