Child Travel Consent to travel abroad in case custody has not been

Does a mother need her spouse's permission to take her minor child abroad, in case she is not living with her spouse? If yes, what is the procedure to stop the child's travel abroad without father's consent?
The child's passport does not bear father's name on it. Also, child's custody has not yet been decided in the court.Restitution of conjugal rights case has already been filed by the father.
Hello if the child custody case is subjudice before court under Guardian and Ward act it is advisable to take permission of the court for foreign travel along with child, if the child is minor and travel is temporary court will usually give permission. However please share complete details about status of cases pending before court to advise appropriately and remedy.
