If it is falsely filed case you can contest in court that the case filed if after the cheque book lost you can satisfy the court for acquitted the case if the evidence produced by you is in documentary manner you will acquitted

You say you had lost the cheque book and you had given stop payment instructions to the Bank. You also would have filed a police complaint for your lost cheque book . You also say that your friend had created that you had given him. You had not stated what sort of evidence you had friend had created against you. You should first establish that there were no circumstances under which your friend had paid any amount to you. And you were never indebted or no liability existed for payment of any money to your friend. You have not given full details to facilitate us to give you a proper guidance or help. (* the law is the cheque should have been issued towards a legal enforceable debt or liability, you should prove circumstances to rebut the presumption laid under sections 118 & 139 of NI Act . you should be able to prove that the cheque is not issued towards any legally enforceable debt and it was lost and it was misused by your friend. did your receive the statutory notice under section 138 ? did you reply to the notice? so there are many facts which you have not stated in your query)
