Wrong police station mentioned in plaint by mistake

We filed a cheque bounce case but by mistake we put wrong police station in it but the police station is in same district .what can happen in it can we change it or will it effect aou case?

If u file a case in cheque bounce case. It is under Section 138 NIA if u file the case properly and adjoin all needful documents & within proper time then no problem if the name of Police Station in not mentioned or wrongly other Police Station mention.

For this either you can make a oral request before the Court stating typographical error or you can file Amendment Application. This error does not vitiates your right to pursue the matter. Go ahead with either of the option.
