What to do if my cheque got bounced

I have issued 5 cheque leafs some one . They were deposited without my knowing to my bank. One cheque has been bounced ( 250000) today (04-07-2018). If they want to get bounce case is they can do or not ?. If they can do first what should I need to do now.
Yes they can file w case on you of cheque bounce you can either pay their amount if you don't want to pay the amount you can wait for them to send the notice and then reply to it after some time you will get good time to payback

The possessor of your cheque (s) can deposit the same with his banker without your knowledge as the issuance of cheques by you is a license to the drawee to encash the same. As one of the cheque issued by you has been bounced, the drawee of the cheque will send a legal notice to you demanding the payment of money under the cheque. If you want to settle the issue, you can settle after receiving the legal notice, however, if you want to contest the case, wait till the party files cheque bounce case and proceed with contesting the case.

you need to issue a letter stating that the said cheque leaves were lost or stolen and then close the account to avoid further loss and then please issue a reply stating the above ground when you receive the notice form the creditor or his henchmen

But he have a right to file criminal case prior to that he should send legal notice take that notice and contact advocate.
