What to do if i received a cheque bounce notice

Dear Sir, I have issue an cheque and its bounce with signature mismatch reason and party drop a legal notice to me so how i can reply party notice.he issue notice without any bouncing information.
Reply to the Notice at the earliest and make sure to issue a cheque with the Reply with the same amount of money and state the reason for the Dishonour of Cheque and mention that the same would be honoured the next time the other party presents it in Court.

You need to reply to the notice within 15 days from service, this must be mentioned in the notice itself. If not done so the complainant can file a case u/s. 138/142 NI act within 30 days after 15 days had expired. Please consult for further details.

There is presumption under law if cheque is bounced, there is a legally enforceable debt, if there is no debt then you have to reply to the notice and if a complaint under section 138 is lodged against you, you need to defend the case in trial. if a cheque is dishonored onus is on you to prove that there was no legally enforceable debt.
