Time frame to deposit the amount in high court
06-Jul-2026 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
If i am challenging the session court order in high court and if the case is accepted will the high court provide time to deposit the amount?
When you file an appeal or revision petition challenging an order passed by the Sessions Court, your lawyer will typically file an application for suspension of sentence or a stay of the fine. If the High Court grants this suspension, it will usually allow you to either deposit a portion of the fine in the registry or furnish a bond, effectively giving you time to arrange the rest of the payment while the case is pending. Sir
As per your issues, you can file a revision petition before the High court and court will stay the order of the Session court by imposing a condition that deposits to 30 percent of the ordered amount within one month of the date of the order.
Filing revision petition and any other legal assistance feel free to contact.
