if it is only in the name of your father you need not worry as cheque bounce being a criminal case does not concern with the legal heirs of the Accused.

My advice is as follows:-

Hire one pleader and provide him with your fathers deatu certificate. the pleader either will move an application for bringing on record the factum of death or on the date fixed he will submit the death certificate to the Court and this case will stand abated.

We need to see the summons or notice you have received in order to understand the legalities. Kindly b in touch bcoz you being the legal heir therefore out of his movable or immovable properties you need to reimburse the emi etc
Thanks

Hi,

Going by the limited information provided by you, it is essential to understand on whose name loan was issued and who was payingEMI.
On whose name cheque bounce matter is filed?

For better understanding of the matter and advising properly, it is advised to have a meeting virtually/ physically.
