Statement U/S 313 Of Criminal Procedure Code
21-Feb-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
after closing of evidence of complainant matter is kept for accused statement under section 313 of crpc.but accused can not appear before the court for giving his statement then matter will proceed for argument without statement
Presence of accused necessary. Warrant may be issued to secure his presence. Accused can also give evidence in his defense. 313 statement only thereafter. If accused has fled away and intractable then only different procedure could be adopted to proceed in his absence.
