Hello sir/Madam, Kindly provide the following details : 1. When was cheque given to you ? 2. When did it bounce ? 3. Have you intimated your company about the cheque bounce ? Kindly contact with further details

In your case since the cheque has been bounced you have to immediately send a legal notice under the 138 of the NI act Else claiming your amount might be of difficult. After the notice if you do not see any response you can also file a case for the same

Dear Sir,  You may get bounce the said cheque given by your previous company and get issue a statutory legal notice under the provisions of Negotiable Instruments Act. Thereafter, you can file cheque bounce case and thus the concerned Management people are suppose to attend the Court as Accused and also apply and get bail by them. It may be settled soon.

First you have to send them a legal notice then you can file a PCR in the jurisdictional magistrate to take the cognizance of the matter. The PCR must be filed within 45 days. Please note PCR must be filed if there is no reply to your legal notice .
