Misuse of blank cheques and filed a cheque bounce case what can I do

sir i had given 3 blank cheques as surity for chit of rs 51000 but the chit fund agent has has dishonoured the cheque of rs 3lakhs and issued me the lawyer notice for the same amount by stating i have taken hand loan for business purpose. but know he is asking me to pay the double the amount i.e 6lakhs and threatening me stating he is going to file criminal case against me so plz suggest what shall i dofor the same.
As you stated the cheque has bounced. The next possible step that he is going to take is to send a legal notice to you and after that file a case against you.
So we advice you to reply to the legal notice at the earliest after receiving it. And also hire an advocate to constest the case(if filed) on your behalf.
You can also lodge a police complaint against that person under the appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code.
