Lent money in return he gave me cheque how can I recover my money

07-Jan-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)

I had given certain amount of cash to a person in exchange of micra cheque with the respected amount and his signature on it. I have 5 cheques of him. Now he is trying to fool me by not giving my money. I have call recording also where he agree to give me money by specifying the amount too. Except this I don't have any other proof other then 2 witness of my business deal. What can I do legally to take my money back with interest. As he is not responding to my calls and he is four months late.

Fill the amount in the cheque and realise your money and if cheque gets dishonoured then file a compliant under s 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act. Oral evidence will be sufficient to prove the fact that you have given the money.
