Jurisdiction to file cheque bounce case
09-Dec-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I was issued cheque of Allahabad Bank, Indore payable at PAR. My account is in Axis Bank and Home Branch-Kharghar, Panvel but I am residing at Bandra West. I had deposited cheques at Axis Bank, Bandra(W) which got bounced. Please advice which jurisdiction court should I approach. Regards.
Jurisdiction
1) At the Location Jurisdiction Of Your Bank Branch. (belapur CBD court)
2) Indore Court Jurisdiction where the Issuer's Branch Located.
You Need to File case at belapur Court as Kharghar Jurisdiction is within CBD. i am sure you will not Like to go INDORE all time of Court Dates.
After filing case to CBD you can apply for transfer of case to Bandra as on the basis of Convenient Location.
