Gave a cheque which got bounced other party filed a case

Hi this is balesh I have taken around 7 akere land. . I given 90 % money . I am taken land owner and taken documents everything . But his bro comes and not to sale the land but I am given amount and 6 lack cheque. Once got issue . I am not putting money to bank . Present he telling to us putting checque bounce case. Once clear the issue. I am immediately given to amount, once this issue happened I am putting bank fixed deposit. What to do?
Need more details to answer accordingly. So you have paid 90% consideration money but now he wants cancel the sale. What does sale agreement say? Even if he threatens dont worry cheque bounce case can only be filed to recover legally enforceable debt.

Hi....if you cheque is bounced you will be charged under cheque bounce case. Then you have to appear before the concerned court and take bail. If you want to settle the matter you can request the same before the judge.
