Friend's father took loan but now cheque bounced after his death

My friends father took hand cash loan (10lrs.) From his partner by issuing a blank check signed from a joint account of my friend and himself. His father died recently unable to pay it. Please help me to defend from check bounce case.
NO, you cannot file a case under section 138 NI Act against the deceased. The Criminal Complaint cannot be filled against the deceased person. You can file a recovery suit against the Legal Heirs of the deceased person.
