Father's cheque bounced 15 years back can action be taken against him

30-Jul-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
It has been 15 years when the case was filed. We were unaware as we didn't receive notice. But few days back we received notice. 15 years ago it took 2-3 days for bank to give cheque back. When my father was informed 15 years back that the cheque bounced father had send staff to pay to the firm. We got Rubber stamp of firm as proof but were not given cheque as owner was not there, Money was collected by staff working for him for payment. Can this paper with Rubber stamp be considered as proof. The staff that had collected payment has expired. Please help.

If you have a proof regarding the payment made by you under the seal and stamp of the firm it will be a legal and valid document. A case which is pending before the court since 15 years the limitation period in itself is over for a cheque bounce case. On the next day of hearing you can show this document as proof of payment made by you.
