Client's cheque bounced twice what action can I take

05-Mar-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)

What should I do. I want to get the payment as I have waited enough very patiently anticipating the payment. Now it appears that this guy is not in the intention to pay. Twice the cheque has bounced.

You can file PCR before the Jurisdictional Magistrate under section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act for recovery of the Cheque Amount. You should issue legal notice within 30 days from the date of Cheque return memo, to the person who has issued the Cheque and thereafter should file PCR within 45 days from the date of issuance of Legal Notice.
