Cheque issue by me but now account nonoperational what action possible

I have issued cheque to the bank without date but now my that account from which cheque is issued has gone NPA ,further account has also gone unoperational and even signatories are also changed now. ihave written to bank for not putting the cheques before bank, Please advise whether it will attract 138 N.I.Act provisions?

At the time of issuance of cheque was the account operational if yes then it does not matter whether the account at this moment is NPA. You do fall under 138 N.I act in case the person you issued the cheque deposits it in the bank. He shall send you a legal notice if cheque bounces and you have to reply back to that through an advocate. You can also settle the matter out of court.
