cheque bounce matter in case of stop payment

i have given a cheque in deal where deal was cancel not yet received cheque but i have stop payment in bank in such cases if other suite case what will happen.

Dear client send legal notice through lawyer to other party and ask him cheque back. If other party file cheque in bank and it is not clear this legal notice will help u if he initiate any legal proceeding against u. For any legal help call me

Since the deal has not matearlised, you are not liable to make any payment and therefore you have rightly issued stop payment instructions but at the same time you also need to issue a notice (Preferably through an Advocate) to the person holding your cheque demanding him to return your cheque stating reasons. This will help you for your defence in case the other party files a case against you.
