Cheque bounce how to get my money out of court

07-Aug-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I have given a friend a loan of Rs 7 lacs in cash. Have promisory note signed and dated. He gave me 2 cheques 3 and 4 lac each. One cheque bounced few months ago but I didn't send him notice since he paid some interest. Now I need my own money but he won't return it. Should I deposit 2nd cheque andtake the legal route? What are my options to recover my money without going to court unless a last resort?

it is better if we meet personally and discuss these things. because i need to understand the entire transaction and every minute detail before we proceed. once the same is cleared, i shall be in a better position to respond to your query.

Dear client deposit the another cheque. If it got bounced then u have to send legal notice through lawyer within 30 days from cheque bounce date. If other party not return money after reciveinng notice then u have to file case under sec 138 of n i act. For any legal help call me

First it is required to find when the first cheque bounced and secondly it is required to tell your friend about the deposited cheque and state him that you are depositing the same again with the second cheque.
