Cheque bounce for business loan

I have a business loan worth Rs 4 lakhs with an nbfc having an emi of Rs 39000 . Last 4 emis have returned due to certain hardships in my business. As a result the company have deposited the cheque worth rs 284000 in my account which got returned due to insufficient funds.
They have put up a criminal case against me in ahmedabad us 138,141 , 142.
I have not received summon as i have changed my address, but get to know about the case through online e courts search.
Do i need to appear personally in court without getting a summon.
The case is in ahmedabad and i am staying in kolkata.
Can a lawyer represent me .
