Cheque Bounce Case. Validity will expire on 29th April 2020

13-Apr-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
Dear Sir, I had given 10 lacs to a builder. 5 lacs cheque in the name of builder, 2 lacs in cash, and 3 lacs cheque in the name of the builder's firm. All payments were made on different dates. After agreement was made i approached SBI for Home Loan as the builder informed me that all paper required for loan has been given to the bank. The bank informed me that some papers were less and hence loan was not getting sanctioned. The agreement was terminated (not legally) by mutual agreement and the builder gave 4 cheques as refund. a cheque of 3 lacs of the firm was credited in the 2nd attempt. Rest 3 cheques of total value of 7 lacs of the builder's personal account have bounced. What legal option do i Have. The validity of cheques expire on 29th April 2020

well, you consult a lawyer who will do each & every thing on behalf of you . You must follow the instructions of your lawyer. Don't lose patience but be careful. you have limited options to recover that amount.
For details you may consult with entire documents as early possible.
