Cheque bounce because of drawers death what can I do

my client gave me cheques..but he died one month back..i presented cheques which were not honored..reason refer to drawer..what legal action i can take..he was director of pvt ltd company..now the sole director of the same company is his wife..

If wife was one of the director then she can be Accused in the complaint. However if she has become director subsequently then you cant prosecute her. You still can file complaint against company to recover amount. Winding up is also one of the remedy.

Does he given you a cheque as individual drawer or as director of the co.
If he gave as individual nothing can be done.

If cheque is given as co. Director then you can file criminal case against the co.
