Can my employer sue me for joining client company

01-May-2023 (In Breach of Contract Law)
if my client is offering me to join his team, can my current employer sue me for that. Client has confirmed that there is no solicit agreement between the two companies. I am worried only about my current manager retaliation behaviour and the clause mentioned in my offer letter.

Please share the offer letter which you received and can guide you based on that. You need to resign before you join other company ie clients company. Feel free to contact me for further guidance if needed. There are many citations which will help your case
