Agriculture land in Gujarat gifted to person in non blood relation (Agriculturist in Gujarat) in this case who is going to pay (who gives Gift or who receives Gift) stamp duty, gift tax, income tax; if any; and when and how much ? Value of the property is more than 1 Cr.

Let’s assume the property’s “value” (for stamp duty / registration) is ₹ 1 crore (or above). For simplicity, we do the estimate for ₹ 1 crore; for higher than that, just scale proportionally. Stamp Duty = 4.9 % of ₹ 1,00,00,000 = ₹ 4,90,000 Registration Fee = 1 % of ₹ 1,00,00,000 = ₹ 1,00,000 So total you’d pay = ₹ 4,90,000 + ₹ 1,00,000 = ₹ 5,90,000 for a ₹ 1 crore property.

Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act: The probate or succession certificate is generally obtained from the court having jurisdiction over the place where the deceased was ordinarily residing at the time of death.
