Credit Card Ecs PASSA act 25(1) Summon From Court

I got a summon from court 500km far my town for not paying credit bill of 26000 and ecs bounce.what should I do? I am not able to go to that court because I got summon two days ago from post.what if I do not present on that day?

If the ECS has got bounced then you have to appear as cheque bounce is a criminal offence where it is necessary for individual to appear. Otherwise warrant can be issued. You can appear and get the matter settled

in most of the cases now you can appear through VC. it is submitted that you should appear before the court on VC and get your attendance marked at least and if there is any problem then please do consult
