Cleared my home loan bank not returning my property documents

13-Jul-2023 (In Banking / Finance Law)
Hi I had given a letter to the branch manager for return of my property documents after closing my home loan. It had been more than 10months. Till now i did not get any response. Will that letter be enough for complaining to the banking ombudsman. Or I need to complaint again to the zonal manager or regional manager and then go to banking ombudsman.

Hi
The letter mentioned by you is sufficient but it's better if u address and letter zonal or regional manager before approaching the ombudsman. It is not compulsory but it will strengthen ur case. You have to file all the documents regarding your loan transaction, including the loan repayment receipts or statements

HI,
that letter is more than sufficient to complain the banking ombudsman.
you submit all your loan account documents if any with you as evidence to your application.
acknowledgement from the bank with regard to the letter is required, which clearly shows the
negligence on part of the bank.
you also file statement of account if any available with you.
