Regarding Prorata Pension for Airforce personnel with 10 Years Service

Dear Sir ,
EX Airforce personnel who served for 10 years are getting pro-rata pension basis on the medical lower category however they have taken discharge on their own request or either they got a job in PSU & Banks after NOC.
Pls confirm if request can be sought for those who served more than 10 years but had taken discharge on own request basis on compensate ground basis on family survival reasons to take care of their family .
