Putting after 15 years of service (including 14 months desertion) I was By DCM and awarded with 3 months RI Dismissed from service Reduced to rank Now I want to know what benefits I Am entitled for Can I get pension Gratuity? Ex serviceman quota Canteen and medical facilities(my last medical category wasA4G4(P)) Medical pension as my disability is 20% atributable only Retd. As corporal where as my Sgt rank was due since December '15

you may get in touch with complete facts. As you have been charged and dismissed for "DESERTION" the said period will not be counted and as you have been dismissed no facilities will be available to you. You need to challenge the verdict of DCM.

Hi, as you are dismissed from service, you may not get any benefit other than your PF balance etc. If you feel that wrong has been done to you, you need to challenge the proceedings and awards thereon under rule 161 of AF rules.
