Can Special Allowance be claimed by mechanical branch in Indian Navy
18-Jan-2023 (In Armed Forces Tribunal Law)
I am from INDIAN NAVY, presently posted at Mumbai in a ship. I am from technical branch(Mechanical). The working environment in ship is very tough as compare to other branches of Indian Navy. There are lot of machineries like Engines , Generators and other mechnical systems which are produce lot of heat, vibrations and sound . The temperature of Engine room always remains more than 50°C , which is very high to sustain for long time while working there. Our hands and clothes(dangry) remain dirty with grease land oil through out the day. Our working hours always goes beyond the limit as compare to other branches of Indian Navy bcoz there is no limit to do work. There is also slow promotion creteria for the mechanical branch. The mechanical people are suffer more. My Question is: May I claim a seperate allowance for mechanical branch?? Reply plz thanx with regards
