Broad banding of disability pension from 50% to 75%

I retired from IAF as Hony Flying Officer on 2010 with 50% disability (for life)due to neurological problem "Transient Motor Aphasia" in accordance to "Para 20 Chapter VI of GMO 2008" as "attributable to service". Please intimate the followings:- a. Whether it can be broad banded to 75% as per present policy and am I authorized for this benefit. b. To whom to approach/request at the initial stage. c. If my demand is genuine and not met by the authorities, what will be my followup action.

Dear Client,
Post referring the said document referred by you, answer to (a) point can be given. Further regarding point (b), you will have to approach (Written letter) the concern authority as specified in the said document(may be incharge of your Unit) and further follow-up with them.
Regarding point(c)- if no proper resolution is provided by those authorities, you can very well approach Armed Force Tribunal (AFT) with your grievance and get the necessary relief.
