60 years of rented property, what are legal rights on property

We had a comercial property but due to some financial problem my grandfather had to sell the property and at that time we had taken a shop on rent the shop measurement is 8*8 , after being their for over 60 years now he is telling to leave and not giving any compensation money shoul we leave it or put case on him

Ans: They can't evict you without taking legal recourse. If you are not paying the rent for more than 12 years without any interruption from the landlord, you can claim adverse possession over the property.
