What Is The Age Limit For Surety(jameen)

My uncle is going to gv surety for 498A case. His age 70 and has all the required documents. Is there any age limit? Will his surety in court be considered.? My lawyer says he is over age and there is limit till 60 years of age only.

1)There is no such age limit for surety for granting bail.
2) But court has discretionary power to grant or deny.
3) Therefore you can again do enquiry in court.
4) You can apply with that aged person for surety.If court denies then you can look for another surety.

more than 18 years and capable for answering all questions but nothing mentioned upper limit but he is capable for answering all questions asking for enquiry relating to property and other personal information.
