498a - Grounds for Police to Arrest if there is no AB

10-Jul-2023 (In Anticipatory Bail Law)
Hello, I have 498a, 506 case registered against me, and I got 41a notice. But I have not applied for AB, what are the grounds for police to arrest me? I am planning to go for regular Bail once they arrest me. How is AB different from Regular Bail.

Dear Sir,

If otherside is not strong then Police may not arrest you. The Police have formally complied the issuing of 41A notice which is mandatory before arrest. Anticipatory bail prevents the Police to arrest you by the Police under any circumstances. Normally, regular bail will taken after filing charge sheet. Even before filing charge sheet you can apply and surrender before the Court and get regular bail from the Court directly. The choice is with you.
