Q: Writ Petition on Madras HC regarding application deadline for NET exam
I was deprived of applying for CSIR NET Dec 2025 due to NTA’s silent shift from csirnet.nta.ac.in to csirnet.nta.nic.in without notice or redirect. The old domain remained active. I discovered the change only after deadline. I relied on old website in good faith. No websites - nta.[ac/nic].in,, www.nic.in have any notification of the change Can I urgently move Madras HC with virtual hearing for relief before exam to appear in it, which is scheduled to be on December 18? NTA response is useless
Advocate Yogesh answered
Hi,As discussed, since the CSIR-NET application portal has changed and you were unable to submit your form on time, we can approach the Hon’ble Madras High Court seeking permission for you to participate in the CSIR-NET December 2025 exam.We will file a writ petition requesting the Court to direct the authorities to accept your application or allow you to take the exam based on the circumstances. If you want to proceed, please share all relevant details and documents so I can prepare the draft.RegardsAdvocate Yogesh Madras Highcourt

Q: Family dispute and raised complaint against husband
I have complained against my husband few months back as he harassed me. But the si mam just investigated and advised him and send us back and I got the csr for it. Now my husband is asking me to get a clearance certificate from police on that complaint. Is that I can get it. He is telling that he will get a problem in his employment like that. There is no fir filed for the case. Is there any clearance certificate I can get. If so what is the procedure
Advocate Yogesh answered
For a CSR , no clearance certificate is required as part of its routine compliance or operational activities. However, if an FIR (First Information Report) is registered against the organization or its representatives, appropriate legal recourse must be taken — specifically, by filing a Criminal Original Petition (Cr. O.P.) before the Hon’ble High Court seeking quashing of the FIR under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.).regards Yogesh.badvocate

Q: False Allegations and Alimony Threatening
My in law (Wife's mother) is a retired inspector of police and she is threatening me and my family with false cases if we file for divorce and asking 50 lakhs to me if they need to sign the divorce petition. I am not sure what to do.
Advocate Yogesh answered
Dear Client,Your matter involves criminal intimidation and coercion for financial gain, which are serious offences under Sections 503, 506, and 384 IPC. Threatening you with false cases in exchange for money amounts to criminal intimidation and extortion. You should immediately document every threat—whether verbal, message, or call—and avoid any private negotiations. If the threats persist, file a written complaint to the Commissioner of Police detailing her conduct and request protection for your family. Simultaneously, you can proceed with filing for divorce under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act on appropriate grounds without succumbing to such pressure. The court will independently assess your case and ensure fairness. It’s advisable to consult a family law advocate to draft your petition carefully and also issue a legal notice to safeguard against potential false allegations.Warm regards,Yogesh BAdvocate
