Q: can someone used me as a reference for a loan India

Hi, my colleague applied for personal loan through HDFC Bank and used me as a reference for a loan India. He might have missed on payments.He currently changed company and Bank person calls me up continuously and says he is not pickup the call. She called today and said Legal case will be filed and I would be included in it. I never signed any document for my colleague, Bank person also specifically said I was a given an reference. I just want to know will I be liable if he does not pay and this kind of harassing, can I take any action if it continues. She did not says I was guarantor but I was a reference. I called up my colleague and he says, he will check with them. I do not want to be involved in all this. Kindly assist on what needs to be done incase they call me and threaten like this again.

No financial company can harass you. It's against the law. Only guarantors are liable but mere reference can not be taken in to account.The bank guys are just trying to get the contact number and to reach the defaulter.But no need to worry , it's the cheap tricks of the bankers to harass terrorise the people over phone.Ask them to send a notice !

Can wife claim husband property after divorce in India? Is there any right of wife in self-acquired property of husband?

It depends on the type of property, If it's ancestorial then it is differentand if it is self earned ( by the husband) and sometimes a property is purchased with the income (money) of both Husband and wife.All these factors need to be considered.

Q: Domestic Violence Case In Hyderabad

I have a active domestic violence case running in Hyderabad and present counsel is not doing properly hence I want to get NOC and give ti others .what will be charges for handling DVC .please only comment if u can tell fee at front .thank you very much

I cannot disclose the fees here at it is not permitted.you can approach after taking the NOC from your advocate along with the complete file, all documents etc., from the earlier advocate.without seeing the complete file and studying the case fees cannot be disclosed.

You can register a complaint in the Police station and Police after investigation will file a FIR. Take a copy of all the documents, receipt and your adhaar card copy to the police station. it's a case of cheating and you can ask for the amount along with 9% annual interest on the amount given.

My grandfather was expired while doing service in revenue department as VRA .and my father has not interested in that job with his age and my father is in other countries by some financial problems in our family. So my father's wish is to appoint me in the place of my grandfather's job .sooo plzzzz rply me sir

It the appointment on the compassionate grounds. You need to forward your application through the MLA of your constituency and requesting to appoint you in place of your grand father. If you are covered under any reservations like BC, SC & ST etc., please get the required documents and all your educational certificates along with your aadhaar card and ration card.
