Q: Legal remedy against landlord harassing for more money

I have taken a floor on agreement of 11 month and i have the documents also, but after just 15 days of agreement my landlord is harrassing me by asking me for more money or else i vacate the floor. I have a baby n wife too. I dont know what should i do, he is forcing me to leave the place right away or give him the amount he is asking more. Plz help me plz .. what can i do in this matter. Plz help me

hello. First of all you have to see whether the terms and conditions mentioned in the 11 month rent agreement are very clear about the amount of rent to be paid and no escalation whatsoever has been mentioned thereof. Secondly, dont communicate with the landlord on telephone infact write a letter to him/her stating all the facts and whatever I happening in detail and to stop harassing you. Don't miss out on anything and if you want we can help you in that also.Thereafter, if the landlord still continues to harass you, you can file a complaint in the concerned police station alongwith the copy of this letter and the {Police authorities shall take action accordingly.Regards,Shreya S DabasAdvocate

Q: Legal action against mental torture & black mail with private videos

Hello sir, i am seeking for the righteous action taken against someone who is torturing me mentally. I had a friend and once we got intimate when we were intoxicated. Out of my knowledge he recorded a video of our sexual act. When I tried to cut off contacts with him he tried to blackmail me through those clips. He wanted to get intimate with me once again. He told me that he wants to get intimate once again and after that he will not bother again. Out of my stupidity, I did it but now he is stalking me again and again. He is threatening to kill me and my family and also to expose those videos in public very soon, if I will not get intimate with him at the time he wants have intimation. I would like to get rid off him. I have all the messages where he has threatened me to murder and continuously told me to have intercourse with him.BUT I don't want to involve my parents into this. Thugh my mother knows he is stalking me but she doesn't know the whole story. Kindly suggest me something

Hello. The very first thing you should do is file a criminal complaint with the concerned police station writing in detail the happenings.and in case the police authorities do not register FIR you should approach the Court.

Q: Child quit the course want to claim for amount paid to institution

I had admitted my child in this institute but my child was not interested in this course.I paid 15000 for this course.Us there any law to refund my money if this institute willnt refund.

Hi. No I don't think there's any way out. You can only try requesting the institute giving valid and such grounds which compelled you to discontinue with the course. Else there is no way to get your money back.

Q: Eligible for full Maternity benefits if worked in hospital on retainer

I have a query... I worked at a coorporate hospital on retainer ...am I eligible for full maternity benefits??

Practically not really. You may however look into the rules of the hospital how do they work. Further what kind of benefits they generally give to its employees. Also look into your appointment letter or conditions of services.

Q: Legal action for en cashing FDR by director of bank to adjust loan

there is an charge sheet for encashing FDR of 1.5 lacs by bank of one of the directors of company to adjust loan as FDR was with bank .However FIR was lodged and charge sheet filed .Is it possible to deposit the amount in court for court to decide where this money should go as it was adjusted by bank against loan
