Questions Answered by Advocate Sanjay Gupta

Q: Man did sex on pretext of marriage

I m in relationship with a man from last two years. We met on shaadi.com... I m single mother and I have 15 years old son. he has promised me to marry me even against the wish of his parents because his parents don’t wanted a girl with kids. He met my son many times and met my family too and assured everyone that he will marry me soon. We had physical relationship too between us. Now from last 9 months he is making excuses about his mother’s illness and delaying marriage... Suddenly he said his mother passed away and he can’t marry now. When I enquired about it, I came to know that he was lied and his mother is fit and fine... when I argued about all this, now he is to talking to me... not picking my phone. I felt he used me.. It is mental harassment for me and my son... Is there any legal remedy available for me??
