HiI purchased a plot in my wifes name using money from her bank account. However on advice when registering added myself as 2nd owner. Now if I want to remove my name do I need to do a relinquishment deed or gift deed?Also, can I give her a POA to register the relinquishment or gift deed on my behalf?thanks

you will have to register a gift deed or relinquishment deed in your wife's name, however you cannot give a POA in her favour to register the same as the POA holder and beneficiary cannot be the same, you have to give POA to someone else on your behalf to register a document in her favour

is the property a ancestral or self acquired property of your mother, if it's a ancestral property or the purchase consideration is paid by any of your family members like your father or someone else you will have a share in the property

Q: What are the rights of a son on father's property if father remarries

My parents are married for past 27 years, but my father is having an affair. So my questions are 1. if my father marry to another women, will i have same rights as a only son on my fathers property? as muslims are allowed to marry 4 wives? 2. if my father give divorce to my mom, will i have same rights on my fathers property as before? 3. Being 22 years old male adult can i as ask for my part of in my fathers property?

Regarding to your first question, you will have same rights if your father marry to another women, he can marry2) if he divorces, then also your rights will be there.3) I need further clarification on this point, you can contact me, for further discussion

Q: Clarification on the purchase of grand father's property in Muslim law

Hi sir/madam This is regarding to a land of grandfather who have 8 children. In that 8, 2 are buying that property by giving compensation to remaining 6 brother and sisters. My query is can the buyers register the property without signature of the remaining 6's children because they all r major(18+)? If yes, in future cant they sue on that property? Please let me know And we r muslims.

In your question first of all I would like to know, whether your grandfather is alive or not and regarding the purchase of the property by other members there has to be other documents need to be executed and the clauses need to be included while drafting the deeds, for which you can contact me for details.

Q: How to pay the party if I have lost the case so that court also knows

If you've lost a money suite and you have to pay some amount to another party then what is the process of closing this? Do you call other party's lawyer, handover demand draft(DD) to him and get the receiving signature, that it? Or is there any other process. My doubt is, if you give the DD to other party's lawyer, how the court will know what happened? Please help me with the right and final approach. Thanks in advance!

If you've lost a money suite and you have to pay amount to another party then, you have to draw a DD if favour of the courts registrar and along with a memo submit it in the court as deposit of amount as per the judgment and order passed. Or you can pay to the party.
