Q: Can I sell minor's share of property?, can guardian sell minor's property ?

is it possible to sell minors share in the property , supreme court judgment on sale of minor property , pleaseadvise

Advocate Ritagya Riti Singh answered
Hello,U/S 11 of the Hindu minority and guardianship Act, one cannot sell the property of a minor even if he is a de facto guardian. There are judgments of SC wherein it has been held that one has to take the court's permission to the extent of its satisfaction and only then can that person deal with the property of the minor. For further details you may contact me.

Q: Does husband have any right on property given by parents to wife

We belong to a Sunni Muslim family. My question is. My wife purchased a property and made a registered Will for my daughter. That daughter will be owner of that property after her death. Is there right of our son in law in that property any time?

Hello. Not in the situation narrated by you, as the WILL makes her the sole beneficiary, if that is the intention of the recitals. After your daughter it shall devolve upon either as per her testament if she makes one or as per the succession law.
