Q: Recovery of loan from a friend

Dear dirI am writing to seek your advice on how to recover a sum of 5 lakh rupees that I loaned to a person in my area. I write the cheque,the amount via cheque, which they subsequently withdrew in cash. However, they have since disappeared, and their family claims they are nowhere to be found. once you deposit the cheque and it get dishonoured. you can take further steps for recovery of the money paid by initiating the cheque bounce case for recovery of the money. That should be the strategy going forward. for more precise information would require further information.

Q: Recovery of a friendly loan given to a relative

I gave a friendly load to a close relative with whom i am on good terms. there was no trust issue so i transfered the money by online transaction, he repayed half after some time and gave me a post dated check for the rest, but asked me not to use it until he says so. now the date on check has also passed. i have some chats with him where he is saying that he will pay me back my remaning money. but i need it asap now, do i have a strong case against him to go to the court?

if you are in dire need of money then the best recourse for you will be to deposit the cheque. Once the cheque bounces. Then you can move for the recovery of your loan. it will be the fastest way to get your money back.

As this is a government body you have to file a writ in the Allahabad High Court under Art 227 seeking direction to the Uttar Pradesh Government to cancel the subsequent allotment in the area which was previously allocated to your sahkari samiti.
