I gave a friendly load to a close relative with whom i am on good terms. there was no trust issue so i transfered the money by online transaction, he repayed half after some time and gave me a post dated check for the rest, but asked me not to use it until he says so. now the date on check has also passed. i have some chats with him where he is saying that he will pay me back my remaning money. but i need it asap now, do i have a strong case against him to go to the court?
