Advocate Richaa Kapoor

Advocate Richaa Kapoor enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi in the year 1992 and through twenty five years of experience at the Bar, she has attained proficiency with fair degree of success in pleadings, arguments, art of representation and meticulous adherence to procedures.

She graduated with B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from Hindu College, Delhi University and attained her LLB degree also from, Delhi University.

Advocate Richaa is an Advocate on Record for the Supreme Court of India since 2005 and has broad experience in Appeals and Special Leave Petitions before the Apex Court. She also renders her services to the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee.

She has conducted all types of civil, criminal, divorce, property, commercial, arbitration, corporate, trademarks, patent cases and other miscellaneous civil suits including recovery suits. She has appeared and conducted various kinds of litigation relating to Banking, Financial Institutions like SBI, RBI, etc. before various Courts/Debt Recovery Tribunal and Appellate Debt Recovery Authority. Apart from this, she has done cases relating to DDA housing, commercial and industrial division concerning allotment disputes, lease restoration and tender etc. She has also done Consumer cases before NCDRC and SCDRC.

Advocate Richaa specializes in Criminal law, inquiry in cases of Sexual Harassment against woman at work place, real estate and property disputes, Prevention of Money Laundering Act and Prevention of Corruption Act.

She has represented Government of Delhi as an Additional Prosecutor for over 13 years in Delhi High Court. She has to her credit reported judgements in various journals on criminal life sentence appeals.

Advocate Richaa has served as Additional Standing Counsel for Municipal Corporation of Delhi for about two years, Central Government Standing Counsel in Delhi High Court for about 2 years, Additional Public Prosecutor for Government of NCT of Delhi in High Court for 13 years and is currently Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) for Government of NCT of Delhi in High Court.

She enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 1992. She is a member of the High Court Bar Association and the Supreme Court Bar Association.
