Your father can get a bail from the High Court. You should proceed to file a bail application in the High Court. Given the factual circumstances described by you, he can get bail from the High Court. The chances of getting bail would increase once the charge sheet is filed in the case.

You can get anticipatory bail in such a case. Since, the case is under investigation, you cannot register a case under 182/211. However, if there is some version of the incident from your end, you can lodge a counter case regarding that. The cost of handling anticipatory bail would be Rupees Ten Thousand.
