Q: What legal action can be taken against a misbehaving person

If the chairman of the resident society or any person in the residence society talks or behaves with a lady in an inappropriate manner, then as a citizen what action i can take and which law applys in these cases?

It's case falling under IPC. Sections can be decided what words were spoken to her. That will decide the course whether the offence is cognizable or non cognizable. As a citizen if the lady complains to police you can be good witness or you may choose to inform the police in person or writing.

Q: Captured my picture without my permission

There is some guys which capture a kind of nude type picture without my permission and they call it joke. So can i do any action against them ?

If it is without your permission it would be a breach of law under IT act 2000 as well as an offensive act under indian penal code. it has to be seen that have they published it on any platform or transmitted to other persons and misused the contents.

Q: What steps can be taken for the non payment against the sale of DSLR

I had to sell my old DSLR Camera and had posted on OLX And face book, a guy with number +13067003066 approached me online and made a deal and said you send it by courier to Delhi mentioning the consignee his son with mobile no.8130715787, He mentioned that when I ship the camera and send him shipping receipt his bank will deposit money in my account. As soon as I sent him receipt he blocked my number and I smelled some fraud. I asked courier company to return back the shipment, but his so called Nigerian son forcefully collected the parcel from Trackon courier in Delhi.

Having gone through the incident you narrated you must approach police and file a complaint narrating all facts on documents. also make that +13067003066 guy and his son as well as courier as opposite party. this would be offence under IPC and IT

Q: Can a case filed on dispute of property against my sisiter

My mother has been expired on 4th march 2018 and father on 1.1.17..we r 3 sisters and no brother.my mother has done gift deed of our flat at porbandar..which was when originally bought from builder in 2008.at that time I HV given half of the amount in flat purchase by cheque..so can I file a case against my sister?

we have to see the original sale deed for the transaction you claimed.the question remains that if you paid by cheque why you did not opted to be partner in the property ? however after examining documents a gift deed can be challenged on the multiple grounds

Q: Provisions with respect to maternity leave for contractual consultants

Hello Sir, I work with ICICI Securities as a Retainer (Contractual) since 2015. Currently I am 4 months pregnant and when I asked my reporting head about Maternity Leave, I was informed that Maternity Leave benefits are not applicable for contractual consultants. Can someone help me confirm whether what I am being informed is genuine? Looking forward to the assistance.

With new amendments made to the Maternity Benefits Act, 1961, the paid maternity leave has been extended from 12 weeks to 26 weeks for women working in the private sector. you are entitled to have leave if you fall under the definition of employee and for that your retainer-ship conditions have to be seen. ask them to inform you in writing. I am of personal opinion that you must get benefit.
