My dad created a firm in my mother\'s name, she has two cases filed against her under 138NI but all the activities were performed by my father. Now that he has passed away what can I do to avoid imprisonment and get some time for payment

If the firm is in your mother’s name, then your father’s death will make no difference on the case. Even if your father was actually controlling all the affairs of the firm, on paper, your mother is the proprietor. So case will go on as it is against your mother. Q: Complete charges for filling a case in consumer court

I would like to know the charges including court fees and lawyer fees for a case in consumer court for getting the refund of 220000/- \ncharges until the case is closed.

Charges would be 50,000 plus 1,500 per hearing charges and court fees on actual basis. But the fees depends on complexity in the case as well. But this is general overview of the fees. I have dealt with more than 700 cases before consumer court and have regular appearance there

Q: Legal notice for repayment of debt

I have to send a legal notice to three parties who I have been associated with in the past, and they haven't paid the money they took as a form of debt from me. Problem is I don't wish to provide them with any of my or my lawyer's details. So, is it possible to ask them to deposit the mentioned amount in the court from wherein I can receive it and does legal notices include lawyer's details or can be avoided?

It is not possible to file the case and hide the information of client or his advocate from opposite party. These details cannot be confidential. Moreover there is a fix period in which you can recover your debt. After expiration of the said period you would not be able to recover the same. I want to file case in NGT but I don't know how to file case. Is it important to hire a lawyer to file case in NGT. Is it possible to file case without1 lawyer

I would suggest you that you hire a lawyer to fight your case. Though it is possible to fight your case without a lawyer, but it is always advisable to engage a lawyer to get better results otherwise you might lose the case owing to the technical and legal issues of which you might not be aware but a lawyer is aware.
