Q: Bailable warrant against the Complainant in a Criminal Case
Our car got stolen in September 2020. We filed an online FIR. A few days back my mother got a call from a policeman for appearing at the Districts Court in Rohini on a said date. She could not appear because of health reasons and the notice time was too short. We now receive another call for a new date to appear and it seems a bailable warrant is to be issued against the complainant as per the previous summary. What would happen if my mother cannot appear now also? Do we have to pay any penalty?
