Q: Property on lease for 10 years tenant refusing to pay the rent
Hi there, We have given our property on a 10 years lease agreement to a company. 1. They are making late payments of rent after several follow-up 2. Every month they deduct some amount as TDS but they are not depositing that amount to government 3. Recently they were so rude and told us they don't pay the rent and do whatever we can. I believe we can take legal action on them. But my question is 1. Will they start paying the rent to the court? 2. If yes, since which date they will start paying the rent? 3. In our earlier case, we didn't get the Case number registered for atleast one year. Thank you in advance for your help.

You should first send them a legal notice and file suit for eviction in the court and after filling suit for eviction , you should file a petition for deposit of rents and upon the allowing of petition by the court the tenant will be depositing rents to you till the date of judgement
